The iHA is a companion to the Summitek 2 x 20 watt PIM test solutions. The iHA is a lightweight, low power PIM tester that can be carried up the tower for a coarse check on individual components, or used at the bottom of the tower to check for badly out of performance components or interconnections. The simple to use one button push-to-test implementation makes it ideal for the intended application.

Partnering with Triasx, an Australian
RF technology company, Summitek continues its worldwide leadership
in the measurement and verification of PIM performance by taking
this test method to the basestation. In this application, PIM
becomes an effective determinant of infrastructure quality. Poor
quality results in interference that reduces basestation performance.
The Summitek/Triasx solutions use the industry standard test at 2 x 20
watts per carrier to expose defects that may not be revealed through
any other method including return loss, distance to fault, or low power
(2 x 2 watts) PIM testers.
RF transparency is a necessity to support increased spectral density and
technology overlays associated with the introduction of high data rate,
broadband technologies such as LTE and HSPDA.
